As a degree qualified naturopath I’m dedicated to inspiring and educating people about holistic health and wellness, the magic and intelligence of herbs and the power of nature connection.

I was always interested in naturopathy. However, it wasn’t until my personal experiences with chronic illness that I made the decision to study Naturopathy. Chronic illness is a teacher, and as a teacher, chronic illness helped me to reassess my life, make meaningful changes and reorient my path towards a higher purpose.

At age 29, I experienced Graves Disease / Thyrotoxicosis, an autoimmune condition. This was followed, at age 33, by Stage 3 Breast Cancer, and I underwent a full mastectomy and chemotherapy.

During this time of chronic illness, I balanced conventional treatment with natural therapies. I improved my diet, lifestyle and thought patterns. These experiences changed the trajectory of my life.

Following chemotherapy I felt I had to understand, on a cellular level, what had happened to me and how I could prevent further health challenges interrupting my life. I also reconnected with nature, which became a major part of my recovery. This led me to begin my studies in naturopathy.

Through naturopathy I realised that a myriad of factors had contributed to create imbalance and dis-ease in my body. So I started to connect the DOTs.

Despite the intensity of these challenges I became empowered to take control of my health. I discovered a personal inner strength I never knew I had. I began to value discipline and balance and renewed my deep connection to Mother Earth.

I am now dedicated to helping others connect the DOT’s to their own health, facilitate positive change, prevent disease, support optimal health and vitality and improve quality of life.

As a clinical naturopath I treat a range of conditions. However, my special interests include gut health, immune support, post-viral fatigue, autoimmune conditions, parasitic & stealth infections, anxiety & depression, stress & fatigue, sleep disorders and peri-menopause / menopause. I also facilitate re-connection to Nature and thus ourselves through herbal weed walks and nature connection experiences. For we are not separate to Nature, we are Nature.
