The initial consultation aims to holistically investigate and treat the main presenting complaint. This involves taking a thorough case history to establish general and family history, cultural dynamics, diet and lifestyle patterns, past and present medications and their impact on body systems and the individual as a whole. General physical examinations will also be conducted. From this, a holistic evaluation is made and treatment commenced to optimise health and vitality.

Your budget will be considered and discussed prior to prescribing naturopathic remedies so there are no monetary surprises and treatment may be sustained within your individual means.

Jessica is passionate about inspiring and educating people about holistic health and wellness in both prevention and during treatment. Jessica’s goal is to empower her patients to take control of their health, help them find the answers they have been searching for and achieve the health outcomes they desire.

Jessica considers that her role as a Naturopath is similar to that of an investigator. Her approach begins by taking a detailed case history and utilising the latest functional and medical testing, where necessary, as well as the latest evidence-based research to connect the dots and identify the underlying root cause of her patients health concerns and find appropriate resolutions to improve quality of life.

What to Expect from your Naturopathic Consultation

Naturopathic consultations are a safe space where your concerns will be heard. Your health and vitality will be clinically evaluated using a combination of both scientific and traditional naturopathic understanding, with a strong focus on prevention and education. Naturopathy aims to reduce symptom severity and incidence, identify the root cause and facilitate positive change to restore balance and improve quality of life.

This involves taking a thorough case history to establish general and family histories, cultural dynamics, diet and lifestyle patterns, past and present medications and consider their impact on body systems and the individual as a whole.

A thorough case history, including previous and current medical history, family medical history and diet and lifestyle factors, are all considered. General physical examinations will also be conducted and you may be referred for further testing if needed. We may also ask to look in your eyes, using iridology, to support our findings and evaluate your overall constitution.

The practitioner will then connect the DOTs to your health and formulate an individualised holistic treatment plan. Treatments may involve herbal support with teas, tinctures or creams, nutritional supplementation, energetic medicines and always diet and lifestyle advice.

NOTE: All patients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian for the consultation and all consultations are confidential.
