“Weeds are just plants that grow in inconvenient places”

"Weeds.... are just plants that grow in inconvenient places".

I heard this a while back on a weed walk with Herbalist & Naturopath Sally Mathrick. The simplicity of this statement had a profound impact on me at the time and cemented my love for all plants, herbs or weeds.

This statement also continues to remind me that we can find beauty and magic in the unlikeliest of places, if only we look from a fresh perspective.
